Our client, a respected hotel ownership and management group, is seeking an experienced General Manager to open their newest extended stay property in Waycross, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and excels at building strong teams, driving guest satisfaction, and delivering consistent financial performance.

The General Manager will oversee all core hotel departments—including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, ensuring exceptional service, strong operational execution, and alignment with brand standards and ownership expectations. This is a highly visible leadership role with the autonomy to shape culture, elevate service delivery, and develop staff within a growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a team that will open the property and achieve ramp up status
Lead day‑to‑day hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination between all departments.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members; maintain all new‑hire and onboarding requirements.
Maintain high guest satisfaction, personally handling escalated issues with professionalism.
Monitor financial performance, budgets, payroll, labor costs, and weekly cost accounts.
Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal in all areas.
Oversee maintenance and promptly manage equipment outages or service needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and industry safety guidelines.
Maintain involvement in local business and community organizations.
